Who is Jesus? How do different people view
Him?
The different perceptions people have about who Jesus is:
Jesus in His own words said: "he who has seen me has seen the Father..." (John 14:9).
The different perceptions people have about who Jesus is:
- Some people recognized Him as simply a great teacher.
- Others recognize Him as the Son of God but will not agree He is God incarnate
- Some others recognize Him as simply one of the prophets.
- Some deny Jesus is the Son of God and God incarnate.
There is a lot of history about the greatest man ever to live. The man who has influenced every bit of human life. The man who has touched and impacted on heart after the other without ever using any violent means. Yet with all that we may say, it so remains that the Bible has the best account of who Jesus is.
Any other book that may be written
about Jesus can only be reliable if it has references in the Bible. If you therefore
dispute what the Bible says about Jesus, then you have closed the indisputable reliable source.
For the reason that we may dispute who Jesus is and His divinity is not because we lack literature about Him, but it is because we insist to view Him from purely a carnal view rather than a spiritual one. We do have a false view that we should understand who Jesus is just the way we are. This cannot be.
Yet what we do or do not believe does not change anything. For nothing changes who Jesus is or any of God's plan (Psalms 27:14, 37:23), (Isaiah 58:11), (Jeremiah 1:5, 29:11), purposes (Proverbs 19:21, 20:5), (Romans 8:28), (Philippians 2:12-13), (2Timothy 1:9), promises (Isaiah 49:25), (Luke 18:27), (John 5:28-29, 14:2-3), (Revelation 21:1-4) and will (Proverbs 3:5-6), (Isaiah 55:8-9), (Matthew 6:33-34), (John 6:28-29) for man.

What does the Bible say about Jesus?
The clear truth is that many people deny Jesus not on account of a single fault in Him, for there is none (John 8:46). Some people just enjoy to do it (Matthew 16:1-4, 19:3-9, 22:15-22, 22:34-40, 22:41-46), (Mark 8:11-12, 12:13-17), (Luke 20:20-26), (John 8:3-4). For every being must have opponents.
So, it is not only then that people hated Jesus. For there is nothing new in this regard. The Pharisees, the Seduces, and the scribes kept on denying Jesus until when they killed Him. They did not care how much good He was or did. They hated Him for reasons they could never give.
Upon this, they even sought to deny His resurrection (Matthew 27:62-66, 28:11-15). They opposed Jesus even when there was indisputable proof that He (Jesus) is the Christ. They opposed and denied Him for the mere sake of it. But Jesus' tomb is empty anyway.
Jesus was judged for crucifixion for no culpable case (John 18:38). Many people do deny Jesus for being the Christ. And they seem to ask: who is He that He should be the Christ? This therefore is out of mere jealous and spiritual ignorance.

On account of the following references of the
person of Jesus, many people deny Him. But how right could they be?
- Son of God
- God/Christ
- Son of man
- Savior
Son of God
The Bible does indeed confirm that Jesus is the Son of God (Matthew 3:17), (John 14:13).
Yet many people go on to deny He is the Son of God. They claim God is
not human to give birth to humans. But neither does the Bible say Jesus
is the Son of God in the human sense.
Jesus is the Son of God on
account of being the word of God (John 1:1-4).
Jesus had no biological earthly Father as it is to the rest of us.
Yet Jesus being the Son of God is the very reason that He is the promised Savior. How unique should the promised Savior have been? Does any one else have a better description? What is the alternative? Or rather, what do we want the Savior to be? What qualities doesn't Jesus have? And what right do we have to dictate who the Savior should be, or how He should look like?

God/The Christ
It may not have been directly written in scripture that Jesus is God. But if you do not simply wish to remain in denial, there are numerous cases in scripture which do give a strong message that Jesus is God. If you
go on to examine scripture more critically, you will realize there is
implication that Jesus is God. For example; Jesus never denied to be
worshiped (Matthew 14:33).
When the doubting Thomas referred to Him as Lord and God, Jesus never denied He is (John 20:28).
Jesus as the Christ also implies Jesus is God, for the title Christ means the ANOINTED ONE or THE ONLY ONE (Luke 4:18-19). Thus
whoever disputes Jesus on this account simply misses the point.
"But to us [there is but] one God, the Father, of whom [are] all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom [are] all things, and we by him" (1Corinthians 8:6).
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).
"Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58).
"I and [my] Father are one. 31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God" (John 10:30-33).
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:3).
"The same was in the beginning with God" (John 1:2).
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1).
"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature" (Colossians 1:15-17).
"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God" (John 20:28).
"No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him]" (John 1:18).
For Jesus did everything that we needed or may need so to understand Him and what He came to do. All the rest of the thoughts which do cross our minds are purely unfounded. For Jesus is the rock and the ancient of ages (Daniel 7:22).
Son of man
Not many dispute Jesus was Son of man, but they only do so on the terribly shallow understanding
that He was simply that. Yet this was meant more for descriptive purposes
than actually to mean He was Son of man.
For Jesus had put on flesh simply for the mission He came to accomplish. He appeared like any other human being yet He wasn't human in substance. He was God incarnate. His heart was rather pure, clean and righteous. He committed no sin.

For to save man, it
required a Godman. Jesus was to put on flesh because He came to save those in flesh. There was need therefore (in this regard) to identify with those He came to save. When Jesus
identified as Son of man, He only meant that; He took pride in us
and loved us unconditionally (Mark 14:62).
Savior
Many
People deny Jesus on this account. For they go on to falsely believe there should have been
alternatives to Jesus. Many say it can't be Jesus alone to
save billions of humans from the consequential sin.
But they also ask the question that: who is this man to be the Savior? For He (Jesus) appeared literally too ordinary to them. The Jews sought over and over again to weigh down the person of Jesus (Matthew 13:55), (Mark 6:3), (John 6:42). They (the Jews) sought to challenge Jesus in every sense. And this is still happening today.
Many people still have these questions today. For some do think that He was such a high profile "being" that no such things could have ever been allowed by God to happen to Him (Jesus). While others say He appeared literally too ordinary to be any such a person (Savior). Upon this, I can surely conclude that God's plans are purely a mystery to man.
And because many others view Him as a mere human being, they go on to argue that a mere human being can't save a fellow human being. Yet that they say a human can't save a human is the very proof that Jesus was God in flesh, and it just does affirm the deity of Jesus. Jesus is therefore God. For it required God to save the drowning humans (Luke 2:11), (Luke 17:10), (Matthew 1:21).

Yet
despite all the denials and all that may be, Jesus remains the central
figure in the life of every single individual. For Buddha was a very
disciplined individual, yet there are no divine traces in Him. All fade
away, yet Jesus remains indisputably relevant in the lives of us all. Jesus
is the LIGHT, come to Him and be safe.
