Background
I am Jeremiah Kaaya by name. I met the Lord Jesus Christ in 1994 while I was in Senior Two at Kololo High School. Having been a committed Muslim, it would have never been easy, but our God is Omnipotent.
From that time on, I had the excitement of my new found faith. I surely love it. On this then, I began to look for opportunities where I could serve the Lord of my new found faith. I was a very proud boy who had hardly been guided and learnt any of the dynamics and principles of my new found faith. And such had led me to become selfishly ambitious.
In the year 1999, I began to lose the steam and the pride of a Born Again person. At this time, I had joined Makerere University. It was so hard on me albeit I never denounced my faith. I already knew that being Born Again is the sure way to eternal life and that it only comes by having accepted, embraced and yielded to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. On this then, I would never tell a person otherwise.
Then I enrolled for Bible School in the David’s Discipleship Ministries. In this, I acquired an Associate Diploma in Discipleship. I am still looking for an opportunity to learn more. Albeit not to teach the known traditional topics of theology. My calling is to teach the Bible. Nevertheless, I looked for every opportunity that would help me to widen and aide my knowledge in the field. In all this, I was getting more and more guided in my true calling by the Spirit of God. And now I know that I have been called to teach the Essence and Meaning of being Born Again. This has also led me to open up a blog called Christian Guide Teaching Ministries on christianguide2015.blogspot.com. And now another one called: christianguide2015.com.
One sleepless night at home, I was guided to nurture a ministry along such a line. I was equally guided to name it; The Christian Guide Ministries purposely to teach the Church. The motto of Christian Guide Ministries is that; “To teach and to be taught" meaning while we teach the Bible, we don’t have a monopoly of the knowledge of the Bible. Thus we are open to being taught as well. Nevertheless, it is nothing more or less than what the Bible tells us.
Why the Christian Guide Ministries?
Many a time, our Lord Jesus Christ taught us that true life and happiness is not in having many riches or living comfortable earthly lives (Luke 12:15). That man should not place all his emphasis on the life that he lives on this planet earth. That we must allow losing the happiness of this earthly life so we can acquire the eternity that comes to us when we give our lives to Jesus Christ.
Christian Guide Teaching Ministries is here to help Christians get the confidence in the faith that they are. To help Christians who have been taken advantage of when they happen to fall in the hands of wolves presenting as sheep only to realize when it is quite late to save the situation (Matthew 7:15).
To help Christians who have been taken advantage of because of their ignorance of the true meaning of the word of God. And to encourage Christians to read the Bible and to stick to what it says.
In doing this, we do believe that the Church can reach that point when a Christian can reliably and confidently take pride in being so regardless of what situation may be. Is this to say being Christian is to give up on this earthly life? No not. Jesus Christ came so that the dictates of the world must not apply to Christians.
Christians must not live according to the patterns of this world, albeit they are in the world (Romans 12:2), (John 15:19, 17:16). In this then, yielding to the dictates of this world only leads us to eternal condemnation. On this then, one must learn that while we eat and drink in this world, we must learn that we are only sojourners who are destined somewhere (Ecclesiastes 5:15), (1Chronicles 29:15), (1Timothy 6:7), (1Peter 2:11).
Thus for the Apostle Paul to admonish that “the love of money is the source of all evil” (1Timothy 6:10). Christian Guide Teaching Ministries loves to help Christians come to their full potential (which doesn’t come by having many possessions) in the Lord by the grace of the loving Lord Jesus Christ.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
MISSION STATEMENT
The core of this ministry is to teach the Church to appreciate having been saved and thereby accepted into the flock of Jesus Christ.
For that it may not be true that having not seem to have made it in literal life, translates into an indicator of lack in spiritual progress.
The Church has to come to the true knowledge of the key reason for the coming of Jesus Christ. Did Jesus come so that we get ourselves spouses, cars, houses and may be all sorts of riches? May be yes, maybe not. The Church needs finances in order to oil the activities of the Church as is mandated by our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. Yet money must not be central when directing the spiritual life of the Church. Rather it is not when one has acquired money, that he is counted to have made it spiritually. In this then, much as the Church may need finances to oil the activities there are, the Church should not do any and everything to acquire money. For the Church is not here for money! The Church is here to be prepared for the second coming of Jesus Christ.
On this, we love the Church to revert to the core principles of Christianity. The servant nature of Christianity rather than to be served must be restored in the Church. Rather that whatever progress one may have made in this literal life, he must carry on sticking on the servant nature of Christianity. Our Lord and Master Jesus Christ taught us just this (Matthew 20:26, 23:11), (Luke 22:26), (Mark 10:43), and He was a servant yet He had the qualities like the qualities of God. Despite His indisputable qualities, Jesus Christ kept Himself to servant hood rather than to be served (Philippians 2:5-8). The Church must work towards this goal once again.
We also love to see the Church set free from the claws of the sweeping wave of false teachers and prophets who are driven by nothing else other than sheer greed (Matthew 7:14-20), (2Timothy 4:3-4), (1John 4:1), (1Timothy 6:3-5), (2Peter 2:1). Such people love to use every opportunity available to them in order to rob the unsuspecting souls who are innocently looking for material breakthrough everywhere it is reachable for them. God has placed a burden on our hearts to help (only by the grace of God) such people come to the knowledge of the freedom that comes to us only by the act of having accepted Jesus Christ. Jesus preached freedom. The apostles too preached freedom.
Nevertheless, we dearly do appreciate the efforts of many men and women of God who have worked tirelessly to reach out to the many Christians. Those who have mobilized them and to taught them how they can be purposeful in life and also be able to make it to eternity. May God give you more strength and courage to carry on doing just that.

Background
THE CHRISTIAN GUIDE MINISTRIES is founded on the principle of teaching the Bible to convey the substance of the message that the Bible is. To date, it is pretty a true fact that the Church is faced with intentional self seeking false teachers and a group of truly chosen anointed servants of God but who have simply refused to learn what they should teach or preach for that matter to the thirsty flocks.
I am Jeremiah Kaaya by name. I met the Lord Jesus Christ in 1994 while I was in Senior Two at Kololo High School. Having been a committed Muslim, it would have never been easy, but our God is Omnipotent.
Jeremiah Kaaya |
In the year (1994), I happened to encounter a young girl (not to insult) by the name of Mujabi Goretti (now a lady) who was a committed and passionate Born Again Christian. On several occasions, we had discussions about the truthfulness or the untruthfulness (if to say) of each others’ faith. Nevertheless, I loved the layout of the Bible unlike the Qur’an. One day when we had actually agreed to disagree, I asked her to lead me to her Pastor. To my honor, she did. It is at this point that I had the opportunity to meet a man of God by the name Joseph Serwadda (Pastor and Doctor and Head of Victory Churches). I had a heated debate with him at the end of which he led me into a prayer of confession. I actually accepted and embraced the Lord Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless I carried on serving the Lord in different capacities. At church (Victory Christian Center), I worked with other youth members of the Church to promote the youth agenda just within the Christian context. I was also appointed the Chairman of the Scripture Union at Kololo High School. When I joined Old Kampala Secondary School for A-Level, I was appointed Prayer Secretary for Scripture Union. Additionally, I carried on serving the Lord in other capacities as in evangelism and other church activities as need would arise.
But then, by the loving, unceasing grace of God, I recovered from this lapse and I regained my strength in faith. I joined a newly established Church called Springs of Power led by Pastor Rose Babirye. Having been quite hard to allow me into ministry, I commend her for having found a minister in me. My strength pretty multiplies whenever I minister. This then led me to become better and better day after the other.
Sometimes she allowed me to give the word in Sunday services. I carried on ministering as the Lord kept on guiding me in my true calling. Out of my love to look for the essence and meaning of the Bible, much more so of being Born Again, I began to realize that I am actually a teacher of the word. This led me occasionally to start spotting a scripture in the Bible and then make a sermon on it (by the guidance of the Holy Spirit). When I began to do this, countless of revelations began to flow within me. I felt being guided to teach in the area of teaching the Church the essence and meaning of Christianity.
Then I enrolled for Bible School in the David’s Discipleship Ministries. In this, I acquired an Associate Diploma in Discipleship. I am still looking for an opportunity to learn more. That we must allow losing the happiness of this earthly life so we can acquire the eternity that comes to us when we give our lives to Jesus Christ.
True happiness and hope should be placed in the hope that in Christ Jesus, there is eternity after death (John 5:24, 11:25), (Matthew 10:28).
Yet the Church is losing focus of this. The Church has chosen rather to glorify the earthly perishable materials thus giving birth to materialism.
Yet the Church is losing focus of this. The Church has chosen rather to glorify the earthly perishable materials thus giving birth to materialism.
Scripture admonishes that if we land into such a situation, then we are the most to be pitied (1Corithians 15:19). While having a car, a house or whatever belonging may not be criminal and sin, it is never true that not having them translates into having not been a good committed Christian.
More often than not, many Christians who have found themselves in such a situation of material lack have been led to believe it is a matter of curses which stem from their ancestral attachments. Or rather that such may translate into not being /having not been a good Christian. Yet much as such could be true; it is not true that it is entirely true.

We love to teach the Church the true Essence and Meaning of being Born Again. That being Born Again is not simply an occurrence. That being Born Again is life and it is the sure way to heaven and to eternity. That every Christian will enjoy the freedom as fully as was promised to us by our Lord Jesus Christ (John 8:36).
